How You Can Support Weaver

In addition to our volunteer and advocacy efforts, our PTA funds many programs that enrich our children’s education, and we host numerous events that bring our community together.

Donate, Fuel Our Impact

The Weaver Community PTA can’t happen without your financial support. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We sincerely appreciate your contribution of any amount.

The Weaver Community PTA strives to have each student’s needs met so that they can achieve their full potential during their school day. This includes supporting teachers and staff with additional funds for necessary classroom supplies and assisting with funds for field trips and classroom enrichment experiences.

We also host free or low-cost family activities to engage our Weaver community like the Popsicle Social, Book Bingo, Family Dance Night, the Weaver School Carnival, and more.

Become a Member

By becoming a member of the Weaver Community PTA, you gain a voice and a vote in decisions that impact your student’s experience at Weaver. Your membership supports a dedicated community of volunteers and the valuable programs and events we provide.

Joining the PTA is one of the easiest and most impactful ways to support the exceptional opportunities offered to our students—such as author visits, free family events, classroom activities, and more. A portion of your dues goes toward state and national PTA support, helping strengthen schools and PTAs across the country. The remaining funds stay right here at Weaver Elementary to directly benefit our programs and students.

Volunteer, Step Into the community

There’s a volunteer opportunity to fit every schedule and style. Volunteering doesn’t have to be time-consuming, and it certainly doesn’t have to be every week!

The Weaver Community PTA depends on volunteers to help us offer activities, programs, and educational resources for our school community. You do not need to be a PTA member to volunteer—though we always encourage becoming one.

Whether you’d like to help at events, join a committee, or take on a leadership role, there’s a place for you at the Weaver Community PTA.

The ISD 622 Volunteer webpage (https://www.isd622.org/about/volunteer) has additional information and resources for volunteering, including how to complete a background check if you are going on a field trip or handling money for events.
