On Monday, September 23, 2024, the League of Women Voters of Falcon Heights, Lauderdale, Little Canada, Maplewood, and Roseville hosted a school board candidate forum at the District 622 Education Center. All six candidates participated.

The candidates are Miriam Janechek, Nancy Livingston, Justin Middaugh, Charlotte (Char) Nitardy, Katie Swor, and Kita Yang.
School District 622 will hold a general election on November 5, 2024, to elect four school board members for terms of four years each. The four seats up for election are currently held by Nancy Livingston, Julia Martens, Charlotte Nitardy, and Kita Yang.
